State parksRecreation Passport plate exemptionA Michigan vehicle with a valid disabled-veteran, former-POW or Medal of Honor plate does not need a Recreation Passport.The exemption follows the Michigan plate and registration, rather than the individual veteran. EducationChildren of Veterans Tuition GrantEligible undergraduates may receive up to $2,800 per full-time academic year, with lower amounts for part-time enrollment, up to four years or $11,200 and before age 26.Natural or adopted child of a qualifying Michigan veteran who died or became permanent-total due to service-connected illness or injury, or is MIA.
