Service-related total disability changes the treatment of VA benefits in household income. Hunting and fishingDisabled veteran permit exemptionsEligible veterans receive selected hunting and fishing permit exemptions or resident-price privileges. Big-game, migratory-bird, conservation-order and other excluded permits remain separate.Honorable discharge and at least 60% service-related disability or former-POW status, with a certified VA eligibility statement. State parksMilitary camping discountEligible veterans, service members and specified active-duty family members receive $2 off each eligible state-park camping night year-round.Request the discount when paying and provide eligibility documentation when required. EducationWartime Veteran's Survivors GrantEligible spouses and children receive tuition support capped at comparable University of Missouri-Columbia resident tuition, up to $2,000 per semester for room and board and up to $500 for books. The statutory annual recipient limit is 25.Qualifying Missouri veteran service after September 11, 2001, combat death or injury or 80% combat-related disability, required combat-pay evidence and residency.
