EducationVermont National Guard tuition benefitEligible current Vermont National Guard members can receive tuition loans that are forgiven when the required Guard service is completed. Income taxIncome-limited military retirement exclusionFrom tax year 2025, military retirement and survivor income is fully exempt at adjusted gross income of $125,000 or less, phases down above $125,000, and has no exemption at $175,000 or more.
