Added amounts for qualifying dependents

Start with the exact published row for your spouse, first child and parents. Add the under-18 rate for every child after the first. Schoolchild amounts are separate, and spouse Aid and Attendance applies only when VA qualifies the spouse.

Parents, schoolchildren and spouse care

Schoolchild amounts are separate from the under-18 count. A spouse care addition requires a dependent spouse.

Change from 2023

The 70% veteran-alone rate changed from $1,663.06 to $1,716.28 per month, a $53.22 increase. Published rates include the 3.2% COLA. Each official rate is used directly, including its published cent rounding.
